Biography
2007(c): Receives training from Steve Osada.
2008(c): Introduced by Steve Osada to Master "K", becoming his pupil.
2010(c): Together with Master "K" visits Chimuo Nureki, Go Arisue, Haruki Yukimura and Hiroshi Urado in Japan.
2012: Nov. Participates in photography workshops with Norio Sugiura.
2012: Dec. 12-19. Together with Master "K" facilitates Haruki Yukimura workshops in the United States. Awarded the title of Second-class quasi-Shihan.
2013(c): Founds LA Rope Dojo with Master "K".
2013: Visits Japan together with Master "K" from Oct 22-Nov 22 to assist with the revised Japanese translation of The Beauty of Kinbaku, receives training from Haruki Yukimura, and exhibits photographs at Master "K"'s KINBAKU: Form & Emotion exhibition, Shinjuku.
2013: Oct. 13. Bestowed the title Haruyutaka by Haruki Yukimura.
2013: Certified trainer of Yukimura Ryū No.5 by Haruki Yukimura.
2014: Jun. 13-15. Hosts Akira Naka performance and workshop at LA Rope Dojo. Model: Shizuki Iroha.
2014: Oct. Launches Kinbaku Today.
2014: Participates in the production of the music video of Come Unwound by the US rock group The Bulls at LA Rope Dojo with Master "K".
2015: Feb. Opens LA Rope Dojo In Los Angeles.
2016: Oct. Does a rope shoot with R&B/rap artist Jhene Aiko, featured in Billboard Magazine.
2016: Nov. Launches Japanese Bound, a website providing digital downloads of Japanese rope bondage.
2018: Apr. launched Rope Flix, a steaming website for Japanese rope bondage.
