Biography
1812: Born in Kochi.
1820: By age 18, Ekin was studying the Kanoha style, and he graduated in three years, rather than the customary ten years.[1]
1829: Moved to Edo.

Ekin was a chief retainer of the Tosa domain.
Charges of forgery got Ekin expelled from his position.
Ekin painted images on folding screens.
